Delivery Terms and charges

We understand the importance of safe and expedient delivery. Please see the table below for our different delivery rates. We endeavour to dispatch all orders received by 2.30pm the same working day.

International Delivery Rates:International delivery rates depend upon basket value and destination. Rates start from £9.99.

Most standard delivery orders are sent using Royal Mail Tracked 48 or Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded delivery services. This means you can expect parcels to be delivered 1 – 3 working days from dispatch in most circumstances. 

Please note that a signature is required on delivery for both services. Please make sure that somebody will be in to sign for the parcel. Where an attempted delivery is unsuccessful, your package will usually be held at your local Royal Mail depot to await collection or redelivery. 

High value, heavy or oversized parcels will be delivered by courier.

Expedited Delivery: Need your light weight or non-bulky items faster? No problem! We send these out via Royal Mail Special Delivery which is a guaranteed next day delivery service. Larger and heavy parcels are dispatched via Royal Mail Tracked 24. While this service has a 24 hour delivery target, please note that this cannot always be guaranteed.

Saturday deliveries may vary in availability depending on your location. They are not always feasible and can often be prohibitively expensive.

Standard Delivery Exclusions

Please note that due to the nature of some items, it is not always viable to send via standard delivery. Specifically;

• Section 1 firearms
• Shotguns 
• FAC specification air rifles 
• Section 2 shotguns 

These are sent via Parcelforce AM Secure delivery service where possible or via Parcelforce 24/48 where the secure service is not available due to your location. 

These items can only be shipped to other Registered Firearms Dealers and not directly to the customer unless the purchaser possesses a valid RFD. All RFDs must be validated prior to dispatch. Please note that this may cause delays.

Firearm Shipping Costs – £25 Standard rate to mainland UK £39.99 to Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Islands.

Sub 12 Ft/Lb air rifles and sub 6 Ft/Lb air pistols cannot be shipped directly to you. We are legally required to ship them to a registered firearms dealer for transfer. These are dispatched via Parcelforce 24 delivery. Remember that RFDs must be checked prior to dispatch and this may result in shipping delays of a few days.

Off License Airgun Shipping Costs – £25 Standard rate to mainland UK. – Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Islands are excluded and are worked out individually in accordance to local licensing requirements.

Powder, Primers, metallic ammunition and shotgun cartridges cannot be sold remotely as they can only be carried by specialised explosive couriers. As such, because these are not economically viable to send, these items can only be purchased in store with the production of correct license and authority to purchase.

Please note that airgun pellets and gun cabinets are easily damaged in transit and so can only be sold in-store.

Online Returns

We understand that every now and then returns are necessary. However, due to the nature of our products, please adhere to our online returns policy to ensure a safe and smooth return.

Please ensure that all goods returned are properly repackaged and are sent using a tracked or signed for service. We cannot accept any liability for items lost or damaged in transit.

Take advantage of our discounted postage rates – With our Royal Mail tracked returns service you can return your goods for less. This works out cheaper than Royal Mail 2nd class recorded delivery for all parcels sized over 35.3cm x 25cm x 2.5cm can be used on parcels with a length up to 60cm long. This makes it the perfect option for the majority of items we stock.

Please Note: Royal Mail 2nd class recorded delivery may be cheaper than our tracked returns label on smaller items which fall within the Royal Mail large letter size guide (35.3cm x 25cm x 2.5cm).

Warranty

We offer a 12 month warranty on all items, excluding Used Goods / consumables / consumable parts / batteries, bulbs etc.. This covers faults caused by manufacturing defects only and not damage caused by misuse or alteration.

In the rare event that a problem or fault occurs within the warranty period, goods will be replaced, repaired or refunded at full purchase price as appropriate and as agreed with the customer. 

If we receive notification that the problem occurred within 30 days of the purchase date, we will additionally refund all reasonable return shipping costs. This is provided that we have been informed of the problem and agreed the method of return with the customer.

Clothing and Footwear returns

Please understand that due to hygiene reasons, we cannot accept the return of any clothing or footwear that has been worn unless submitted for repair or replacement under warranty. Please note that  footwear returns in particular will not be accepted unless they have been thoroughly cleaned prior to return.

– A contact telephone number 

– Description of the item you are returning 

– A description of why the item is being returned to us

– How you would like us to act upon receipt of your return ie. Refund / Size swap / Exchange etc.

Supplying us with this information will allow us to quickly locate the initial sale and action your request more expediently.
